Each piece takes shape in our workshop, from raw aluminium to exceptional furniture, in collaboration with trusted partners and in compliance with the highest quality standards.
The legs of our tables and benches are laser-cut from solid aluminium sheets. This advanced technology offers outstanding precision and perfectly clean contours, without any deformation. The parts are then shaped using a CNC press brake, ensuring highly accurate angles. This level of craftsmanship guarantees both structural quality and the refined lines that define MEB creations.
The legs are then attached to the aluminium structure (designed to support the tabletop) using high-end welding techniques: MIG welding and laser welding. The latter allows for perfectly controlled heat input and extremely fine weld seams, ideal for demanding assemblies. These processes ensure joints that are both very strong and discreet, serving a clean and seamless design.
After welding, every seam is carefully ground and sanded — even in areas that are the least visible✦. Laser-cut marks are also removed to achieve a perfectly uniform surface. Sanding is done in several stages, using increasingly fine abrasives, resulting in a smooth and refined finish. Finally, all edges are chamfered — softened — for an elegant look and improved paint adhesion.
Yes, we know… nobody ever looks there. But we sleep better this way.
Before painting, every surface undergoes careful preparation: light sandblasting for the structure and a specific treatment for the tabletop. Then comes powder coating, which involves applying a coloured powder before baking it in an oven. We apply two successive layers: a protective primer and a UV- and scratch-resistant topcoat. This process ensures long-lasting colour, a uniform surface, and reinforced protection against weather and daily use.
