The address of our website is: https://www.meb-design.be.
When you leave a comment on our site, the data entered in the comment form, along with your IP address and browser user agent, are collected to help us detect unwanted comments.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you use it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible next to your comment.
If you upload images to the site, we recommend avoiding images containing EXIF data with GPS coordinates. Visitors to the site may download and extract location data from these images.
If you leave a comment on our site, you may choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. This is for your convenience so you do not have to re-enter this information when leaving another comment. These cookies last for one year.
If you visit the login page, a temporary cookie will be created to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.
When you log in, we set several cookies to store your login information and screen preferences. A login cookie lasts for two days, a screen preference cookie for one year. If you select “Remember me”, your login cookie will be kept for two weeks. When you log out, the login cookie will be deleted.
When you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be stored in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data. It simply indicates the ID of the post you have just edited. It expires after one day.
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles…). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if the visitor were visiting those websites directly.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking tools, and monitor your interaction with embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to their website.
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely. This allows us to recognise and automatically approve subsequent comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For accounts that register on our site (if applicable), we also store the personal data provided in their profile. All accounts can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except for their username). Website administrators can also view and edit that information.
If you have an account or have left comments on the site, you can request a file containing all the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided. You may also request the deletion of your personal data. This does not include data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
